He has worked for local publications in Washington and Oregon, producing community-oriented articles on events and public figures. He served as a research and reporting intern at Open Markets Institute's Center for Journalism & Liberty, examining the ties between antitrust policy and the news media ecosystem. Garcia also has experience in communications, social media management, and content marketing from his time working for an international company and its brands.
