Julie Sandorf has served as President of the Charles H. Revson Foundation since 2008, where she has focused on strengthening the four pillars of New York City’s civic infrastructure—public libraries, voter engagement and election reform, parks, and local journalism. Initiatives spearheaded by Revson include the co-founding of ‘The City’ and the Advertising Boost Initiative (ABI), Culture Pass NYC, and GoVoteNYC.
Before joining Revson, Julie was the co-founder and Executive Director of Nextbook, founder and President of the Corporation for Supportive Housing, NYC Program Director for the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) and proudly got her start in the South Bronx working for the Mid-Bronx Desperadoes Community Development Corporation.
Julie currently serves as an advisor to the Oak Foundation, is Vice-Chair of the Board of the Center for Urban Community Services and serves on the Board of the A.M. and Ruth Z. Fleishman Foundation and the Carolina Beacon. She also serves on the INN Communications Strategy Advisory Board.
